SOMOS Community Care, in partnership with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, hosted a “Books on Wheels” event. Empire offered books to children in partnership with the community physician practice. Parents and children in attendance could learn about health-related topics in a fun, community setting.
Emblem Health
In conjunction with Emblem Health, SOMOS Community Care held a county-wide expo in the Bronx. SOMOS Innovation, Emblem Health, and local physician practices joined efforts to provide blood pressure screening and health education materials to the local community.
